PIF 2006 was a renaissance year for showing of improv as an artform as the longform and shortform shows of previous years opened up to musical shows (The Remainders), improvised beat poetry (The Hook) and improvised film (Neutrino Project). PIF 2006 took place as more troupes and theatres started growing in the Phoenix area.

Cliff broke the stage for the first (but not only) time.
